What type of kids cars should these celebrities get?
Kids electric cars come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes, and some of the most popular cars are those based on iconic real-world vehicles. We all know that stars love their cars, so what kind of kids electric car would these five celebrity petrol heads go for?
Jeremy Clarkson
If anyone knows his cars, it’s Jezza, and after decades of reviewing cars, the Top Gear kingpin has settled on the Mercedes SLK 55 AMG. ‘The car,’ says Clarkson in his driving.co.uk review ‘has the haunches of a hyena, the snout of a racer, flaps, ducts and claws.’ This fearsome look, combined with the panther’s growl of the v8 engine, has made this car a hit with the world’s most notoriously hard-to-please motoring pundit.
So what kids’ electric car should Jezza squeeze himself into? The Mercedes SLK kids electric car might not have the raw horsepower of its big brother, but Clarkson’s sure to approve of the look of this pint-sized powerhouse.
Tom Cruise
The action superstar and celebrity Scientologist indulges his speed-freak side with the Porsche 911, everyone’s favourite era-defining sportscar. Cruise is known for owning a whole fleet of 911s, and we are confident that while the Porsche 911 kids push car may lack in power, its authentic Porsche styling means it won’t look out of place.
Justin Bieber
The cherubic Pop Star turned teenage tearaway is known for wrecking a variety of the world’s most desirable vehicles. After his chrome-coated Fisker Karma was totaled in one of Bieber’s late-night LA escapades, Bieber got himself a Lamborghini, though it’s not the first he’s owned: hip-hop impresario P Diddy generously bought him a brand new Lamborghini for his 16th birthday.
While Bieber is, technically, an adult, we think that after his history of vehicular carnage, he might be better off in the Lamborghini Murcielago SV kids electric car.
Queen Elizabeth II
Although best known for her stiff upper lip and steel-hard stare, Queen Elizabeth II can also be spied hurtling along the roads of her kingdom in a classic Land Rover Defender. We know that this motoring monarch would love the Licensed Land Rover Evoque, which even comes with a parental remote control unit, perfect for regaining control if a rebellious prince takes it out for a spin.
Paris Hilton
The Hilton Hotels heiress might have failed in her singing and acting career, but all that family money means she’s still able to splash out on this hot pink Bentley Continental GT.
It’s hard to know what to recommend for Miss Hilton. Bentley had nothing to do with the paint job of her car ñ this was the work of West Coast Customs, the bling-slinging cosmetic mechanics featured on MTV’s Pimp my Ride ñ and it’s not an option on Licensed Bentley Continental kids electric cars. Something tells us that the colour is what’s important to Miss Hilton, so we’d have to recommend the Official Hot Pink Mercedes S63.
